Unique in its field, this book uses a methodology that is entirely new, creating the simplest and most abstract foundations for physics to date. The author proposes a fundamental description of process in a universal computational rewrite system, leading to an irreducible form of relativistic quantum mechanics from a single operator. This is not only simpler, and more fundamental, but also seemingly more powerful than any other quantum mechanics formalism available. The methodology finds immediate applications in particle physics, theoretical physics and theoretical computing. In addition, taking the rewrite structure more generally as a description of process, the book shows how it can be applied to large-scale structures beyond the realm of fundamental physics.
.
This book demonstrates the exciting promise that zero point energy, which supports every atom and molecule, will soon be used directly to power a car, house, or spaceship. With a clear, simple-to-understand style, a former community college teacher provides the only book with the history and science of zero point energythat emphasizes its usage. Here is the only uninterruptible fuel supply for the near future that will be here sooner than you think. Business entrepreneur? You need to learn about this before your competition does. - Amazon
Would you like to travel into your past, change some events und emerge in the present as another being? Is that really possible? The infamous grandfather-paradoxon - I kill my grandfather, therefore I cannot exist, therefore I cannot kill my grandfather, therefore I can exist, therefore ... - seems to prevent travels into the past. But physicist and science-fiction-reader Peter Ripota found a solution to this paradoxon. Based on ideas by Richard Feynman and John A. Wheeler, he schows: Time travels are theoretically possible, even into the past. But will they ever happen? And can you really change your destiny?

Why read a book on martial arts written by a man who has not practiced the art for over 30 years, who is best-known for illuminating the foundations of physics as they apply to free energy? Because Tom Bearden?s penetrating analysis of everything he studies leads to unique insights.

Aikido ? often considered the ?softest? of the martial arts ? seeks to neutralize an opponent without doing harm, utilizing the natural flow of ''ki'' in relaxed movements that turn away or redirect an attacker?s force. In an almost magical dance, the attacker goes cartwheeling through the air while, paradoxically, the defender seems nearly stationary.

Here, Tom Bearden?s studies of aikido shed light on basic principles that apply to everyday human life: our body mechanics, our balance, our senses, and our interactions with the natural world and the people around us. Going beyond the merely physical, he also touches on states of consciousness, meditation, and how these affect our ability to perceive and use subtle energy. Thus, the information is of interest not only for its application to the physical world, but also to the unseen world of ''ki''. The same concepts apply equally across the broad spectrum of human activity ? whether one is a carpenter building a house, a clinician observing a distressed patient, a housewife doing laundry, or a student crossing the street.

Some of his wry observations about innate human reflexes ? and how to evoke them for self defense ? arose from watching wild creatures such as snakes, pumas, and birds during his boyhood in the back woods of Louisiana. Other observations on self-development pass along authentic insights that carry on a centuries-old Oriental tradition founded in Zen meditation. The functioning of the conscious and unconscious mind, the training of habits and reflexes, and insights into the nature of Self, are all addressed in this book.

A ''sandan'', or third-degree black belt, is hard-won in any martial art and is the culmination of many years of sustained effort. You will see a different side of Tom Bearden?s multi-faceted character, including origins of themes that profoundly influenced his later work. Whether you are a martial arts practitioner, an athlete, a scholar, a person interested in spiritual development, or simply a curious reader who has found inspiration in Tom Bearden?s writing on other topics, something fascinating awaits you in Yoseikan Aikido.
'''From Publishers Weekly
'''Seifer\\\\\\'s vivid, revelatory, exhaustively researched biography rescues pioneer inventor Nikola Tesla from cult status and restores him to his rightful place as a principal architect of the modern age. Based largely on firsthand documents including Tesla\\\\\\'s writings, his patents and those of competitors, it credits the Croatian-born Serb, who moved to New York in 1884, with the invention of the induction motor, long-distance electrical power distribution, fluorescent and neon lights, the first true radio tube and remote control, besides making vital contributions to the technology underlying television, wireless communication, robotics, lasers, the facsimile machine and particle-beam weaponry anticipating the space-based \\\\\\"Star Wars\\\\\\" defensive shield. Though often depicted as a recluse, flamboyant nouveau-riche Tesla (1856-1943) lived in Manhattan\\\\\\'s Waldorf-Astoria Hotel for two decades, and hobnobbed with architect Sanford White, Mark Twain, Rudyard Kipling, conservationist John Muir, mogul John Jacob Astor III, Swami Vivekananda. Yet the electronic wizard, who competed fiercely with Marconi and with his one-time employer Edison, became swamped in debt, abandoned by a world he helped create, ending his days in seedy poverty, a bitter, anorexic eccentric obsessed with feeding pigeons and avoiding germs. Seifer, who teaches psychology at Community College of Rhode Island, attributes Tesla\\\\\\'s downfall partly to his megalomaniacal, neurotic, self-destructive tendencies, partly to a quagmire of litigation and also to his Faustian pact with his ambivalent benefactor, Wall Street financier J. Pierpont Morgan, to whom he relinquished control of several patents. Morgan, suggests Seifer, stymied Tesla\\\\\\'s visionary scheme for a global, wireless power-distribution system because, if realized, it would jeopardize electrical, lighting and telephone monopolies. Seifer provides the fullest account yet of Tesla as an entrepreneur, experimental physicist and inventor. Photos.
Copyright 1996 Reed Business Information, Inc. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

From Library Journal
Nikola Tesla is credited by many as the inventor of radio and should have received most of the credit for the development of modern electricity. Yet there is considerable confusion about his technical contributions and even more about his personal life. This book, by a professor of psychology at Bristol Community College and a member of the International Tesla Society, painstakingly documents Tesla\\\\\\'s wide-ranging contributions. Born in Croatia, Tesla emigrated to the United States in 1884 and almost immediately began work on alternatives to what was then accepted as standard electrical technology. This brought him into conflict with Edison and later Westinghouse. The pattern of conflict continued for nearly 60 years, partially because Tesla was far ahead of his time, partially because he was erratic and off-beat, and partially because he was not an astute business partner. Seifer has analyzed extensive sources, many not previously used by other Tesla biographers, to provide a detailed interpretation of his life, but the fact that he also incorporates extensive handwriting analysis to arrive at several of his conclusions will certainly cause some reader concern.
Wisp theory is unique and it explains the fundamental properties of nature in a clear and simple way. In 1978 I had concluded that matter could not possibly be a hard ?something? in a space that was empty, simply because force needs a medium in which to propagate. Fifteen years later, on 11 December 1993 and quite by chance a simple thought occurred to me:

* Fractals form in ?full? space, creating particles that have empty space at their centres.

I knew immediately that this was the correct answer to the mystery of the composition of matter. Our senses convince us that matter is hard and that space is empty. Even the great Sir Isaac Newton held this view. In his treatise Opticks, published in 1704, he wrote in Query 31 about matter being solid, very hard and unbreakable. But our senses deceive us: the reverse is in fact the truth. Reality is effectively a ?photographic negative? of what we perceive.

Empty space is not void, it is full of wisps (the smallest fundamental particles in nature) and hence full of mass, but its mass lies dormant, and only manifests itself when it is disturbed. Disturbances create particles ? fractal shapes ? which lock quantities of wisps together, giving particles unique masses.
WGDE strives to show that there is no God, no miracle, no supernatural explanation for the workings of the Universe as claimed by General Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, String Theory, and traditional religion. WGDE holds that Big Bang is a creationist theory in disguise, nothing more than a veiled way of selling God. If you are open to new ideas and want to have a fresh look at science, specifically the physical workings of light, gravity, electricity, magnetism, etc., WGDE provides you with a rational alternative. You will never listen to a mainstream mathematical physicist again. A book designed and written for the layman. Over 300 illustrations. Empirical Science validates itself by claiming its assertions are based on measurements of physical reality. However, none of its claims has any basis in physical reality. There is no physical evidence that gravity is proportional to, and therefore a property of mass. There is no way to prove that an object will move in a straight line unless a force acts on it to change that motion and, in fact, nothing moves in straight lines. The historic swirling mass of gas claimed to impart its motion to matter in the solar system and therefore account for the rotation and orbiting of planets is just an ad hoc fantasy that fails to explain any of the chaotic movement that is the solar system, and the off-the-wall assertion that chaos provides the solar system with the stability it needs if it were formed out of a swirling mass of gas is as nonsensical as the unfounded belief that particles that repel each other hold matter together. Even the measurable facts Empirical Science claims as validation are opposed by measurements in physical reality. Light, which can be physically measured to diminish out of existence with distance on Earth travels forever in space so that we can see stars at the end of the universe and the beginning of time. Objects, which come to rest with respect to the forces acting upon them on Earth are claimed to move without current force in space. Energy is always consumed on Earth but gravity, which forces objects to come to rest on the surface of the Earth, is not used up when it bends the straight-line motion of the planets into circular motion. Momentum, which is always overcome by gravity on Earth is not affected by gravity in space allowing planets in space to be bent into perpetual circular orbits. In putting numbers to things, Empirical Science can only approximate the stars in galaxies and the atoms in matter in the billions, but can tell with precise accuracy the number of electrons orbiting the nuclei of the atom of any element. It uses parallax measurements to determine interstellar distances when the errors that have to be taken into consideration to compute the measurements exceed the measurements themselves.
Does the universe expand? If it does, then let us prove it, and if so, let us prove how fast it is expanding by measuring the rate of expansion. When dealing in astronomy we should remember all the information we know about the universe outside of the solar system comes to us by way of propagating electromagnetic energy messengers. Astronomical experts acclaim the big bang theory as the only explanation for the expanding universe. The big bang has problems in that it requires breaking laws of physics. Nevertheless, it has been fully accepted as an actual fact. But! Can it be proven? Peer review and referees claim any other idea is pure metaphysics and has no place in science.

Such thinking equates back to the time of Galileo when it was thought the earth was the center of the universe where the sun rotated around the earth. The idea the universe is expanding comes from the predominate red shift of the distant universe in all directions. The Doppler effect can be an explanation for this phenomenon.

A great advance will be made in astronomy when astronomers come to realize not all red shift is the results of a Doppler shift from receding velocities. This will become quite apparent when they are able to differentiate Doppler from other forms of red shifting.

A good place to start is in explaining the Doppler effect. "A receding body has its light shifted down in the red direction depending on the velocity of recession." We cannot deny Doppler shifting for it does operate according to the statement. But examine the statement. If a frequency is shifted to another frequency it is another frequency and it no longer is the original This new frequency cannot tell us what its original frequency was before it was shifted. Therefore, we would be unable to determine how much shifting had occurred.

What has been explained to us as Doppler shifting still has the original frequency appearing to be displaced to a lower frequency. From this information we can determine how much the frequency appears to be shifted.

Since the original frequency is still present the effect cannot be interpreted as Doppler, because the original frequency still contains portions of the original frequency. There has to be some other reason for what we see other than Doppler. This becomes quite apparent in the Chapter on Time we have presented in this book.

In this book we point out there are other means of red shifting and how to distinguish the difference. We discuss how light propagates and some of the other operations this energy can employ. It requires energy to propagate or transfer energy through space. We go into some detail about this energy called light...
An original theory for gravitation is presented. Unlike various other theories, this one explains all observed phenomena in mechanical terms, which can be easily visualized and comprehended. Although this book is centered on gravitation, the underlying physics is in accord with all other physical phenomena, so that it represents the long sought-after unification of physical theories.

"Over the many years that I have been working out these concepts I have made the most excruciatingly minute examination of the implications of all sorts of ideas, all kinds of data and reported results of very many scientific experiments, numerous accredited, discarded, and some few new original theories. Books, then paragraphs, then sentences, then single words, then the shades of meanings of such single words, then the historical development behind those shades of meanings were sifted and peered at close.
      I was like a member of a lost tribe, hidden deep in a blind cave from which no one knew the exit. Our scouts (scientists, philosophers, etc.) had long been seeking the exit, had once thought they saw light, but on following the trail toward it found only blackness when they got there. Now, having explored the area most intensively, they have continued digging painfully onward. Sitting back in the pack I found myself slightly interested by the scouting reports and decided one day to see what they were doing. I began after them, in the dimness of the caverns, tracing out their trail, far, far back. Along the back-trail, moving steadily, I spied the light they had long since seen, and started toward it. As I move, I glide swiftly past boulders and rocks, wondering how the scouts could have missed the ever-brightening exit-way. Then the light dims down and dies! I go back. I shrink. Small me glides swiftly toward the light, passing the tremendous pebbles and chunks of dust on the smooth floor. I look closely at that floor, following the trail, around this pebble, over this mounded obstacle of speck, into this giant molecule, around that big atom. Smallest I glide swiftly along the floor, atom by atom of its structure. Running as fast as I can, but seeming to stand still, I bask in the brightening light. I look far up and around, and see the pick marks and canyons the scouts have blasted in their tunnel. I see them, now, in the almost infinite distance a few rods away, working hard at the steadily harder rock face. They work in darkness, but I run after them in the light. The light! It comes from under my feet! I have concentrated down to so fine a focus as to see every undulation in the structure of the floor. Down little cracks, and up the other side I'd scurried. And now, between a few of the floor's atoms I spy the brightness. I look closer. I approach. I grow smaller. I stand, now, between two boulderish atoms. But what is this? How can there still be a floor between the atoms the floor is supposed to be made of? I touch, and the floor is soft and yielding. The light is bright and dazzling. I push my finger and it passes through! I feel clean air, wind upon my finger tip and know. It is the way!"

We shall find that the kinetic atomic theory that matter is made of ultimate particles got in the way of correct understanding of the equations that describe and generalize experimental results and of the physical experiments that helped refine those equations. As we study the actions of a real material that has no voids anywhere, as compared against the explanations based on a void space with particles scattered about within it, you will gradually understand many things. As you do you will see why the basic-particle theory is responsible for the present belief that nature is ultimately incomprehensible, thus why mathematical equations have replaced comprehension as the goal of theoretical physics. You will see why some of our deeply embedded programs need to be changed and how incredibly hard it is to do that.
A collection of essays in which invited contributors attempt to define the nature of the electron, the quantum particle that has defied characterization for nearly a century.

'''From the Editor's Preface:'''

The electron is the first elementary particle, from both the physical and the historical point of view. It is the door to the microworld, to the physics of elementary particles and phenomena. This book is about electron models.

The year 1997 marked the centenary of the discovery of the electron as a particle by J.J. Thomson. We have already passed the centenary of Planck?s great discovery and the beginning of quantum physics; 2001 marked the 75th anniversary of Schr?dinger?s equation and the beginning of quantum mechanics, while the year 2003 was the 75th anniversary of the Dirac equation and Dirac?s model of the electron.

Today the most widely used theoretical approaches to the physics of the electron and atom are quantum mechanical and field theoretical models based on the non-relativistic Schr?dinger and the relativistic Dirac equations and their probabilistic interpretation. This is the basis of modern quantum field theory. More than 75 years is a long time for a physical theory! This theory is the basis for all contemporary calculations of physical phenomena.

After 75 years most physical theories tend to be supplanted by new theories, or to be modified. The theory?s successes, as well as its difficulties, are now evident to specialists. There is no proof of the uniqueness of the quantum field theory approach to the model of the electron and atom. Are other approaches possible? Quantum field theory may be sufficient to describe the electron, but is it necessary? This theory and its mathematics are very complicated; can we now propose a simpler construction? Is the electron an extended structure, a compound object made up of sub-particles, or is it a point-like elementary particle, which does not consist of any sub-particles? What is the limit of application of modern classical physics (based either on the corpuscular or wave model) in the description of the electron? These and many other questions remain without definitive answers, while experiments on quantum entanglement have given rise to new discussion and debate. New high-precision experimental data, ''e.g.'', on the electric and magnetic dipole moments of the electron, may prove decisive.

This book, ''What is the electron?'', brings together papers by a number of authors. The main purpose of the book is to present original papers containing new ideas about the electron. ''What is the electron?'' presents different points of view on the electron, both within the framework of quantum theory and from competing approaches. Original modern models and hypotheses, based on new principles, are well represented. A comparison of different viewpoints (sometimes orthogonal) will aid further development of the physics of the electron.

More than ten different models of the electron are presented here. More than twenty models are discussed briefly. Thus, the book gives a complete picture of contemporary theoretical thinking (traditional and new) about the physics of the electron.

It must be stressed that the vast majority of the authors do not appeal to quantum field theory, quantum mechanics or the probabilistic Copenhagen interpretation. The approaches adopted by these authors consist in using ?lighter? mathematics and a ?lighter? interpretation than in quantum theory. Some of them are sound approaches from the methodological point of view.

The editor will not presume to judge the models or the authors. We will not venture to say which model is better, and why. The reasons are simple. (i) Readers can reach their own conclusions themselves. (ii) Investigation of the electron is by no means finished. (iii) My own point of view is presented in my contribution to the book. So I want my paper to be on an equal footing with other new models of the electron presented here.

The general analysis of the electron models presented here shows that they can be classified as follows: corpuscular and wave, classical and quantum, point and extended, structureless and with structure. The reader can compare and ponder all these approaches! I would like to thank the authors for their contributions.

It is my hope that this volume will prove worthwhile for readers, and encourage them to pursue further investigation of electron models

This thesis involves more than photons. It attempts to unite classical, quantum, and relativistic physics, and derives a numerical origin for particle waves. The evolved waves are so basic they may provide a basis for all harmonic phenomena. The work also addresses the question, "What is a photon?", which provides a short title. The totality of issues touched upon would be difficult to put in a title. The presented answer to the photon question entails solutions to conventional harmonic equations under a variant mathematics with uncertainty. A photon unfolds as a wave that exists unto itself and can interfere with itself. As a single quantum it can never partition into two or more separate entities. Though of great extent, it can collapse virtually instantly because each such instant possesses all the information contained within the wave. With semantic license it might even be called a particle. The treatment distinguishes by unconventional interpretation of Euclidean space, coordinate axes, the harmonic exponential function, irrationality and singularities. Derived relationships postulate a classical basis for quantum mechanics and relativistic mechanics when space is permitted to possess an indeterminate angle AS within any complete cycle of 2(Pi) radians. Analysis suggests the origin of Planck's constant associates with that minute angular indeterminism in space-time encountered by cyclic phenomena. Associating a physical constant previously treated as a smallest unit of energy, length, or time, as a smallest angle, will indeed stir controversy. Based on a "natural mode" within the ordinal number system, quantized solutions with indeterminism result for conventional integral-differential equations. This extends the domain of such solutions beyond exponential functions. These new solutions have properties well suited to describe photons and other quanta. Plausible explanations emerge for nonlocalization, wave-particle duality, vacuum fluctuations, the uncertainty principle, conservation laws, the Lorentz transformation, and diverse phenomena. The investigation presents a new approach to solving equations under conditions where space has indeterminate warpage and several specific conjectures entail credible guesses. The inquiry elaborates on conventionally accepted premises herein suggested as problematic. Some examples include: Why the limit of a compounding process should not proceed to infinity. Why cycles should not be treated as dimensionless; maintaining dimensional consistency for them is very important. Why ambiguity associates with dimensional units applicable to Planck's constant. Why Cartesian coordinates can introduce fundamental errors. Why a photon's energy should be proportional to frequency and not amplitude squared. Why analysis indicates that time is the fundamental quantized variable, rather than energy.

This work derives a classical basis for particles and waves and a foundation for: The Lorentz Transformation, Quantum Electrodynamics, time's arrow, wave/particle duality, de Broglie waves, non-localization, the energy-momentum conservation laws, curved space, interference anomalies, the uncertainty principle, the characterization of physical laws through mathematics, and a unified-wave description of field disturbances. The approach will undoubtedly be foreign, so the reader should be highly skeptical of such claims. It is therefore suggested that the entirety of this treatise be initially "read as a novel" without attempt to mathematically justify each successive step. The entire picture can then be gleaned with minimal effort and the material may be re-read exercising any desired degree of scrutiny. World class physicists may reject these ideas more emphatically at first than undergraduate physics students. They do not follow mainstream interpretations. Accepting the initial axiom of non-uniform space between ordinal integers may prove most difficult for those who view it as the greatest paradigm shift. The concepts are actually mathematically simple, though abstract because they are unfamiliar.
Today physics sees time and space as two words that seem to defy definition. One unique definition for each of these words will not help to describe the complex nature of time and space. Further, definitions for time and space require more than seeing how they interrelate with each other.

One uses different mathematical geometries to describe space. Understanding these different geometries provides a better approach to defining both time and space. In the seventeenth century, Euclidean geometry limited Isaac Newton to a three-dimensional space. Two parallel lines will never merge epitomizes Euclidean geometry.

In the nineteenth century new geometry evolved. Sometimes called non-Euclidean, or Riemann geometry, this new geometry applies to space with more than three dimensions. Einstein used this geometry in his theory of general relativity. Two parallel lines will merge epitomizes non-Euclidean geometry.

This book presents a new approach to both time and space. For the first time, readers will see how Euclidean geometry can describe space with more than three dimensions. This new approach redefines time into two different components: a vector of Timespace and a scalar of Universal Time.

Amazing insights result from this new approach. Three-dimensional projections from four-dimensional Euclidean space can now visually illustrate time travel. Contraction of Timespace, the fourth physical dimension, becomes equivalent to Einstein?s time dilation. General knowledge of Euclidean geometry allows the reader to understand the complex nature of higher dimensions in a new way.

Readers enjoy a friendly, informative walk into four, and higher, dimensions of space. New ideas in this book revise conventional physics. These ideas transform the three-dimensional world of conventional physics into a four-dimensional physical world.
This book describes the planetary model of the atom developed by Wilhelm Weber (1804-1891). It is based on Weber's electrodynamic force of 1846 which is a generalization of Coulomb's law, with the force depending also upon the relative radial velocity between the charges and upon the relative radial acceleration between them. He began to conceive his planetary model of the atom by considering the nature of Amp?re's stable molecular currents. According to Weber's force, two charges of the same sign behave with a negative effective inertial mass when they are very close to one another, so that they should attract one another instead of repelling one another. He could then propose in the 1870's and 1880's a planetary model of the atom with a nucleus composed of positive charges held together by his electrodynamic force law, so that it was not necessary to postulate nuclear forces to stabilize the nucleus. He proposed negative charges orbiting around this positive nucleus. All of this was accomplished before the discovery of the electron and before the atomic models of Rutherford and Bohr. There are many quotations of original works and a large bibliography is included in the text.
This volume is a substantially complete presentation of the electrodynamics developed by Wilhelm Weber. Weber's force between point charges is explored and thoroughly analysed. Amp?re's force between current elements is discussed in connection with modern experiments relating to the Amp?re versus Grassmann--Biot--Savart controversy. Amp?re's force is a central feature of this work, as Maxwell maintained it should always be in the study of electrodynamics, although it is included in few textbooks on electromagnetism. A detailed study of this force is an outstanding feature of this book. Other topical questions of physics are analysed, such as a potential-dependent inertial mass, Mach's principle and the origin of inertia, action at a distance as opposed to contact actions, etc. No previous knowledge of the subject is required, and all topics are introduced with both their historical backgrounds as well as modern experimental evidence.

This volume will appeal to physicists, mathematicians, electrical and electronic engineers, historians and philosophers of science.
This book reveals the results obtained in recent years by the author in relativistic physics. The recently increased conviction about the conventional definition of relativistic simultaneity has opened the doors to new ideas, in spite of the fact that research has shown that simultaneity in the physical reality exists and is not at all conventional. If the coefficient of the space variable x in the Lorentz, or other transformation of time (we call it e1) had a convetional nature it should be possible to modify it without touching the empirical predictions of the theory. Given that Einstein's principle of relativity leads necessarily to the Lorentz transformations, and thus also to a fixed value of e1, such a modification would imply a reformation of the relativistic idea itself. With respect to the idealized initial picture, the concrete development of research has produced some exciting novelties. Several phenomena, in particular those taking place on accelerating systems (Sagnac effect, and all that) converge in a strong indication of the value e1 = 0. This implies absolute simultaneity and a new type of space and time transformations, which we call "inertial". We give six proofs of absolute simultaneity, which are essentially independent of one another. In order to make their identification easy, the six chapters in which these proofs are given have equality e1 = 0 already in the title. The cosmological consequences of the new structure of space and time go against the big bang model. After our results relativism, although weakened, is not dead, but survives in milder forms.[[Category:Book|weak relativity physics space time paradoxes]]

Peter Rowlands is both scientist and historian, and in both domains he challenges inherited assumptions and prejudices. He says the ?wave-particle duality? arises from a vision of science that is rather too rich in political metaphors. Examples: 1) Newton?s British vision of physical reality was entirely based on particles, and thereby ?opposite? to the Cartesian, continuum visions popular on the European continent. 2) Newton?s particulate concept of light was wrong, and after decisive experiments was overthrown by a wave model tracing to Christian Huygens. Maxwell and Hertz completed and solidified a total ?revolution?. 3) The wentieth century gave us the light quantum, or photon, something entirely new and different from Newton?s old ?corpuscle?.

But reality is far more complex. Examples: 1) Newton described mechanics in terms of point particles and action-at-a-distance force laws, but he didn?t preclude an intervening aether medium; indeed he talked about it in his treatise on ?Opticks?. Newton?s light corpuscle was not just a point, since it carried some sort of periodicity and polarization. If ?dualism? is an identifiable philosophy, Newton was its first proponent. 2) Huygens? wave concept was not much like the later electromagnetic wave concept, since he knew nothing of the transverse character of light, or its polarization. Furthermore, his concept was not embraced and exploited in his own time, so it didn?t influence subsequent development. It was just recalled later, ex post facto. 3) The QM photon is not that much different from Newton?s corpuscle. What was wrong with the corpuscular theory was Newton?s inference concerning the velocity of light in a material medium: he said ?bigger?, whereas reality says ?smaller?. But had his statement been phrased in terms of momentum rather than velocity, it would have been quite right.

So, history is revisionist and mythic. So what? What are we missing here? Well, perhaps a great deal. The problem is that in passively accepting a myth about the history of science, we inadvertently encumber the present and future development of science. Our myth-based vision of science today disregards the greater half of what Newton gave us. The myth is largely mathematico-deductive: it has to do with manipulating equations and calculating numbers; it is what enables us to predict things. But the greater part of Newton?s gift is inductive and qualitative. It has to do with inferring the principles and formulating the equations. This is what enables us to discover things. Discovery is not about the conflict between paradigms, it is about the creation of paradigms. The political metaphors are not applicable, and do not help us perform that function.

Having not fully appreciated the ?creative? aspect of Newton?s science, we have little nurtured it and rarely seen it. To his credit, Einstein gave us a rare modern illustration. Like Newton before him, Einstein: eschewed specific physical models and focused on on universal underlying principles, which he expressed in terms of abstract mathematics. Why then do we have here a whole journal largely committed to critiquing Einstein? I think it is because what happened after Newton has not yet happened after Einstein. Newton was soon followed by Hamilton and by Lagrange, each of whom offered equally valid but different articulations of underlying principles to explain mechanics. No similar phenomenon has followed Einstein: no one has put his postulate set into proper perspective as one out of several possible ones. - Cynthia K. Whitney, Galilean Electrodynamics, V10, N3, p. 42 (May/Jun 1999).

This book tells you how to supplement your fuel with water. Details how to design, build, install and operate a low cost, simple, effective 'active' water injection system. This is one of the Water as Fuel technologies mentioned in Water as Fuel, Book 1.

* Increase Power and Mileage
* Remove Carbon
* Engine runs cooler
* Increases engine life
* Decrease NOx, CO, HC

This technology can be 'stand alone' but works very well in combination with the HyZor. A Water Injection installation also requires the Carburetor Enhancer (for Carbureted vehicles) or the EFIE (for fuel injected vehicles), so that the fuel from the regular fuel system is reduced when adding water.
After all, the energy contaqined in a gallon of water exceeds 2.5 million barrels of oil when equated in terms of atomic energy. Water, of course, is free, abundant, and energy-recyclable.
The Hydrogen Fracturing process dissociates the water molecule by way of voltage stimulation, ionizes the combustible gases by electron ejection and, then, prevents the formation of the water molecule during thermal gas ignition ... releasing thermal explosive energy beyond "normal" gas burning levels under control state ... and the atomic energy process is environmentally safe.... - From the Preface.
The new experimental results giving excess energy cannot be explained and therefore the contemporary theoretical physics and chemistry are in a state of crisis. This crisis can be defeated only by recognizing the significance and validity of the axiom of the unity of space-matter-time in the development of the exact sciences. This directly leads them back to classical ways of progress. This approach reinforces the connection between physics and chemistry and elucidates the physico-chemical processes which are generating excess energy during the different methods of processing water.

It becomes possible to consider water electrolysis process from another point of view, to reduce significantly energy expenses for hydrogen production and to make it competitive energy carrier. The book is intended for physicists, chemists and other specialists which are seeking new energy sources and new directions for understanding the very basics of the microworld.
The author explains for us, in this exhilarating, epistemological discourse, how the theory of relativity and the standard model for the physics of subatomic particles is leading modern physics down an ominous dead-end street where irrationality and the inadequate, indiscriminate use of mathematics and of field experimentation, without the support of substantial theoretical bases, is creating a new physics where common sense and reality seem to have no place whatsoever and where everything, absolutely everything, has an explanation, no matter how absurd it may appear, if one may develop mathematical models ad hoc which, with time, take on the connotation of irremovable axioms.

This book is quite controversial and very surely will raise lively discussions and deep intellectual restlessness in lay circles, as well as at the bosom of the international scientific community, because the author's discoveries give a lost symmetry back to modern physics, removing it from the marshy, moving lands across which it has been traveling throughout the past 90 years.
This book has been written by an eminent geologist, examines the development of the earth and promotes the theory of continental drive and expanding earth. The author, after studying seven continents, found that they all exhibit similar sequences of planation, this process starting with the Mesozoic break-up of Gondwanaland and continuing to the present day. Erosional planations have developed similarly although at the surface the continents drifted away from each other. He concludes, there, that all the continents were governed by one global system of uplifts. The exterior of the globe has expanded by the degassing of the mantle which underlines the lithospheric crust and provides a source of energy which is evident in volcanic activity.
VES is an acronym for virtual elastic strings, the physical, tangible filaments that I believe make up the force fields for all the forces of nature, including electricity, magnetism, gravitation, and the nuclear forces. My theory is that elastic strings emanate from source, and when they retract they pull on any object they become bound to. This induces a force of attraction between bodies. Repulsion forces can just as easily be explained by elastic strings as explained in the book. All the forces have their own unique elastic strings that are ephemeral (virtual) in nature; i.e., they are constantly being generated and then retracted back to source at a very rapid rate where they are re-absorbed.

My theory is strongly supported by nuclear physicists, who have proven through experimentation that strong nuclear force fields behave just as you would expect if they are composed of elastic strings. Scientists have shown that quarks, the small subatomic particles found in atoms, are held together by a strong force of attraction. When scientists separate these quarks, they find that the attraction force between them increases. In fact the farther they are separated the greater the force pulling them back together, just as expected if the strings connecting quarks have elastic properties. The same observation is true for the force of gravitation, it too appears to have elastic properties. In our Milky Way Galaxy, as well as other galaxies, the farther a star is from the galactic center the less it obeys Newton?s Universal Law of Gravitation. The attraction force between a star and the galactic center can be as much as 10 times greater than expected if the star is found at great distance from the galactic center. This can be explained if the strings responsible for the force of gravitation have elastic properties.

My theory that strings have elastic properties is supported by the unique attribute of all atoms that they are nearly indestructible. Think of it this way. When an atom is subjected to fusion on the sun and fission during a nuclear explosion, it is exposed to extremely high temperatures and violent physical bombardment, yet for the most part all the atoms remain intact. This important observation suggests that the material that makes up an atom has tremendously strong cohesiveness with strong, unique elastic properties that prevents the atom from being torn asunder. Doesn?t it seem reasonable that this material can be stretched over vast distances and still remain intact allowing it to retract back to its source? Keep in mind that scientists have discovered that some matter actually grows in volume as it stretches, unlike the rubber band you stretch between your fingers.

I believe my theory is easier to accept than a world of four dimensions where time and space become warped. In addition, this theory explains a thousand times more than can be explained by a four-dimensional world. The simple theory I propose explains all the forces of nature, including attraction and repulsion forces, and the natural laws developed by scientists, including the Universal Law of Gravitation and the Standard Model of the Atom. It also explains our very complex solar system, including the spin of our planets on their axes, why Venus spins more slowly than Earth, momentum transfer between satellites and central body, and repulsion forces between planet and sun, which is necessary to explain the degree of planet tilt, annual wobble of Earth on its axis, and precession of Mercury?s orbit attributed to general relativity. VES theory explains at the most fundamental level how the gravitational force pulls two bodies toward each other. It demonstrates that the density and distance through a body is key to understanding gravity, it explains why gravitation obeys the distances and angles of a three dimensional world. It explains why the force of gravitation is much weaker than the other forces when measured between electron and proton, but not so much or none at all between massive bodies. Because the strings responsible for the force of gravitation have a finite length, it explains why galaxies are in clusters under the influenced of their own internal gravity, but not attracted to other clusters at greater distance.

It explains all the observations and experiments dealing with electricity and magnetism, including negative and positive electric currents and the interaction between electricity and magnetism necessary to convert mechanical energy to electric energy and vice-versa. My theory explains why and how the energy inherent in the spin of small subatomic particles is the ultimate source of energy for all forces of nature. It provides a model for the creation and re-absorption of strings by spinning subatomic particles, and in the process explains why force fields are self inducing. It shows how a gravitational field affects string cycles and how this in turn affects the photon, the basic unit of light. It completely explains away the observations used to support the general theory of relativity, and it explains how the gravitational force fields, magnetic force fields, and electric force fields interact to cause the special relativistic effects noted by Einstein and other scientists. It explains why the speed of small particles in a particle accelerator increases more than expected and why radioactive decay slows down in particle accelerators.

Several chapters are devoted to explaining how the velocity of light is dependent upon its electric and magnetic properties, as dictated by Maxwell?s equations, and how gravitational fields affect the creation of light and the velocity of light. It explains gravitational red shift, gravitational frequency shift, the behavior of cesium clocks in motion and in magnetic fields, and why the energy of incoming light depends upon its origin in the sky and its origin on the sun. It provides a model for the string cycle of a photon, which demonstrates why its magnetic and electric fields are self inducing. It enhances our understanding of the properties of photons, electrons, and quarks, the three spinning subatomic particles that are likely responsible for the all the forces of nature.

It shows how dark matter can be explained by the elastic behavior of the strings that make up the gravitational fields, and why it is unnecessary to believe in dark energy. This short abstract only hints at the contents of this book and Virtual Elastic String Theory. I have in fact examined a very large number of observations, experiments, and theoretical considerations in multiple branches of physics, which are explained in the book, and in all instances they support my theory.
Vector Particle Physics outlines a coherent series of models, going directly from a model for energy, to the energy structure of basic particles (leptons) to the structures of the composite proton and neutron. The models for the leptons go together automatically by simply exhausting all possible ways to combine the photon (energy) model into structures, making it easy for anyone, without prior knowledge, to draw the internal structures for the electrons and the two types of neutrinos. The model gives the mass of the proton to within 3.5 parts per million (ppm), and the mass of the neutron to within 0.4 (ppm) of the CODATA recommended values. The model gives the damping loss for the proton's NMR measured magnetic moment, and obtains the CODATA recommended value to within 33 (ppm). Further, the model, from the scaling, for the first time, not only requires the known neutron decay electron and neutrino, but gives their mass contribution, exactly.
