Let it be known that I have nothing but good will and thanks for all of the scientists who opposed me so long and so faithfully. Without their opposition, I would never have carried the work to the degree of perfection that it now has. My greatest debt of gratitude goes to Einstein himself who generated a theory which reacted upon me in the same way that a red flag reacts upon a bull. My determination to prove him wrong in every respect has led me to a long and successful career. My salute to him may be summed up in his sole contribution to the future: E = MC2.
