The Particle Model is a model proposed by father-son team Bob de Hilster and David de Hilster that the entire universe and everything in it can be described as particles including light, gravity, electricity, magnetic fields, atomic structure, charge, polarity, refraction, reflection, and mass increase to name a few. The Particle Model also proposes a physical explanation for the double-slit with detector experiment.

History

The particle model started from an experiment to detect if gravity as a particle known as the "graviton" as proposed by Argentinean physicist, Dr. Ricardo Carezani which was a variation of the wikipedia:Cavendish Experiment. In order to make calculations for the experiment, Bob de Hilster developed a mathematical model which summed up all the forces of gravitons entering, exiting, and hitting the experiment which took into account the geometry of the lead bars. These calculations needed a precision of up to 150 decimal places and was written in C++ using a math package for ultra-high precision calculations.

The calculations lead to gravity "curves" that closely matched Newton's gravity curve which gave incentive for Robert de Hilster to continue his mathematical studies even though the experiment did not yield any discernible results.
