"Kicked Out of the University of South Wales" is an autobiographical article by Stephen John Crothers published on 17 November 2018 on Beyond Mainstream, reprinted from his own site.

Crothers describes beginning a part-time PhD at the University of New South Wales in March 2003 under Professor John K. Webb, initially on a simulation of extra-solar planets, and taking up general relativity as a sideline about a year later. Within months he had a result he held showed black holes inconsistent with general relativity. Webb was at first enthusiastic and arranged a lecture to his undergraduate class — having, Crothers notes, never previously encountered Schwarzschild's original solution.
