Sepp Hasslberger (born 11 November 1949) is a German-born independent researcher, writer and entrepreneur, long resident in Rome, Italy, and later in the Azores. He is active in the fields of natural health, alternative and "new energy" technologies, alternative economics, and non-mainstream physics and cosmology. A generalist rather than a specialist, he describes his aim as helping mankind transition away from fossil-fuel technology toward what he calls a new era of energy abundance and individual freedom.
Biography
Hasslberger was born in 1949 in Ruhpolding, a village in the Bavarian Alps of Germany. His formal education was oriented toward commerce. He settled in Rome, Italy, where he became the owner and administrator of a health-related business importing and distributing nutritional supplements (La Strega). He has traveled widely and, after his years in Rome, has also lived in the Azores islands of Portugal. He speaks German, English, Italian and Portuguese.
Working in the natural health field since the 1980s, Hasslberger has been active in the legislative and consumer-advocacy arena. He has participated in the work of the European Federation of Health Product Manufacturers (EHPM), a federation of associations in the natural products field (ehpm.org), and with Italian consumer and manufacturer associations, including La Leva di Archimede (laleva.org). He describes himself as a networker for natural health, new energy technology, new physics, cosmology, space technology and a reformed economic system.
Work
Hasslberger's interest in physics began as a hobby, stimulated by the alternative-physics conferences organized by mathematician Umberto Bartocci in Italy during the 1990s and by his earlier reading of Viktor Schauberger's writings on water-vortex technologies. From these starting points he developed a body of self-published writing on thermodynamics, energy, water and cosmology.
He is best known online as a blogger and content aggregator. Through his personal blogs (including Health Supreme) and as a contributor to the P2P Foundation, he has published extensively on hydrogen and water-based energy concepts, aether and "new energy" cosmology, alternative economics, and natural-health topics such as nutritional supplements and health-freedom regulation.
Scientific contributions
Hasslberger's physics writings sit outside the scientific mainstream. He has argued for a rethinking of thermodynamics and has proposed a tetrahedron-based system of spatial coordinates ("Tetra Space Coordinates"). His stated goal is the development of a physics that, in his words, "describes the real universe, not a mathematical abstraction." Much of his work explores non-conventional energy ideas, including Viktor Schauberger's "suction turbine" hydropower concept, vortex phenomena in water, and speculative accounts of hydrogen and the aether. These proposals have not been adopted by, or tested within, established physics.
