==Abstract==

To ascertain the reach of a magnetic field, equations were found for energy density in the field, a spatial accounting of its internal energy was made, and used to estimate the radius of an outer boundary for the field.  If the Biot-Savart law is valid, the test field considered herein, can reach no further than about 70 (cm) from the current section which raised it, regardless of current magnitude.[[Category:Scientific Paper]]
