'''Andrew Neice''' is the author of a heterodox physics paper, "A Hamiltonian for Describing Zero Rest Mass Particles in Free Space," published in the journal ''Physics Essays'' (vol. 17, no. 4, 2004). He is listed in ''[[The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists]]''.

==Work==
In the paper, Neice proposes a Hamiltonian intended to quantize zero rest-mass particles in free space. He argues that the approach predicts properties of the photon that, in his view, cannot be derived from Maxwell's equations alone, and that it also implies the existence of additional particles propagating at the speed of light with properties he identifies with neutrinos and antineutrinos. The work appeared in ''Physics Essays'', a journal that publishes speculative and non-mainstream contributions, and lies outside the framework of the accepted Standard Model.
