'''Bernhard Reddemann''' is a German independent researcher and author known for his critique of modern physics and cosmology, in particular the Big Bang theory. He is listed in ''[[The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists]]''.

==Ideas==
Reddemann argues that the modern literature on physics and cosmology does not present a satisfactory picture of reality, and he expresses discomfort with several standard concepts of quantum mechanics such as wavefunction collapse, nonlocality, superposition and decoherence. He proposes the existence of "antigravitative" elementary particles, suggesting that gravitationally repulsive particles could arise together with ordinary gravitational particles in equal amounts, by analogy with the balance of positive and negative electric charge in the universe.

He also criticizes the Big Bang model on the grounds that a temporal sequence would require a "before" the Big Bang, and he proposes reintroducing a form of the ether that Einstein set aside, treating inertial frames as those at rest relative to this background. These positions lie outside the scientific mainstream.

Reddemann has published a number of papers presenting these ideas through the General Science Journal (gsjournal.net), and his views have been discussed on German-language sites critical of relativity theory.
