==Work==&lt;br /&gt;
With Krasnogholovets, Ivanovsky published &amp;quot;Motion of a Particle and the Vacuum&amp;quot; in &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Physics Essays&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (volume 6, number 4, 1993, pp. 554–563). The paper treats the physical vacuum as a discrete, quantum medium and studies the deterministic motion of a free particle taking into account its interaction with that medium. The authors propose that this interaction produces special virtual excitations, later named &amp;quot;inertons,&amp;quot; in the vacuum surrounding the moving particle. From the kinetics of a particle accompanied by a cloud of such excitations they recover relations associated with Louis de Broglie&amp;#039;s 1924 wave–particle description.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This paper is regarded as one of the founding contributions to the &amp;quot;submicroscopic mechanics&amp;quot; / inerton-field programme subsequently developed at length by Krasnogholovets. The framework lies outside mainstream quantum mechanics and has been advanced primarily through the alternative-physics literature.&lt;br /&gt;
