'''Edward J. Bacinich''' is an independent researcher and Director of the Alpha Omega Research Foundation, known for cosmological work published in the journal ''Physics Essays''. He is listed in ''[[The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists]]''.

==Work==
With co-author T. A. Kriz, Bacinich published "Matter formation and gravitation in an expanding 3-sphere" in ''Physics Essays'' (vol. 21, p. 273, 2008). The paper argues that matter must form in a closed, initially radiation-filled cosmos in order to conserve energy and establish flat space-time. Invoking resonance theory, the authors model matter particles as quanta of electromagnetic energy resonance-trapped within a "strong force" region, portraying matter formation and gravitation as cosmologically rooted processes in an expanding three-sphere.

These proposals are presented outside the mainstream cosmological framework. Bacinich has been credited as director of the Alpha Omega Research Foundation in connection with this line of research.
