'''Aurelian Has''' is a Romanian researcher and engineer known for work in alternative theories of light propagation and gravitation. He is affiliated with the University "Constantin Brâncoveanu" in Râmnicu Vâlcea, Romania. He is listed in ''[[The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists]]''.
==Work==
Has, publishing together with co-authors Ioan Has and Simona Miclaus, has argued for the reintroduction of an ether ("modern continuum medium") into physics. In a 2010 paper in ''Physics Essays'', he presented an alternative analysis of the transverse light path in Michelson's interferometer experiment, contending that the classical geometric treatment contained an error and that a corrected analysis predicts no fringe displacement, which he interprets as re-admitting the presence of an ether.

In later work, including a 2015 paper in the ''American Journal of Modern Physics'', Has proposed that gravitation has a "dipolar electrical nature," deriving a universal attractive force between the electric dipoles of masses from a corrected Coulomb law. He argues that consequences of this model include the non-existence of gravitational waves, black holes, spatial curvature of gravity, and the Big Bang. These proposals lie outside the scientific mainstream.
