Mohorn founded the Aquapol company in the mid-1980s to market a device that he says dries out damp masonry without any electrical power supply or chemical treatment. According to his own account, the apparatus receives, modulates and re-radiates a "geo-gravomagnetic" field of the Earth so that moisture is driven back down out of the walls; he describes this as tapping the "proto-energy" of the universe. In free-energy literature the product has been described as "Mohorn's self-running wall dryer."<br />

His concept of gravomagnetic energy is not accepted by the physics community: critics, including physicists in Austria and at the Max Planck Institute, state that no such field has ever been demonstrated experimentally and characterise the claimed mechanism as pseudoscientific.<br />
