'''Fred Lee Aeilts''' is an author known for a wave-based model of physical reality set out in his book ''Cosmic Mechanics''. He is listed in ''[[The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists]]''.

==Ideas==
In ''Cosmic Mechanics — How We Create Reality With Zero-Point and Quantum Waves'' (Lulu.com, 2007), Aeilts argues that there are no discrete particles or solid matter anywhere in the physical universe, not even at the centre of heavy atoms. He proposes that everything consists of standing waves arising from the quantum zero-point field, and that the familiar properties of mass, inertia, charge and gravity are the result of "space resonances" produced by zero-point energy. The book presents this as a wave-structure-of-matter picture in which observers participate in generating physical reality.

The model is a self-published, non-peer-reviewed alternative to accepted physics and is not part of the scientific mainstream.
