Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to state a hypothesis of the Quantum Space-Time (QST) which is based on the unification of the physical meaning of the notions which derive from either general relativity theory (GRT) or quantum mechanics (QM). A consequence of this unification is that the physical model which derives from it has similarities as well as basic differences with both GRT and QM. According to this hypothesis, QST is matter, and therefore it can be regarded as Aether.
