Grundfehler der Relativitätstheorie ("Fundamental Errors of the Theory of Relativity"), subtitled Das provokative Buch, is a 1988 German-language book by Karl Brinkmann, published by the Hohenrain Verlag (Tübingen).
Overview
Brinkmann presents a critique of the conceptual core of relativity — its treatment of time and space. He argues that Einstein's special and general theories are mutually exclusive, that time is not identical with what clocks measure, and that there is accordingly neither time dilation nor any compensating time contraction. About the author
Karl Brinkmann (born 1918 in Gelsenkirchen) studied philosophy and law, earning a doctorate in 1955 and habilitation in 1964, and from 1970 was a professor in the Law Faculty of the University of Cologne. From about 1980 he devoted himself chiefly to natural philosophy, especially questions of time and space.
