Prof. Heinrich Georg Brandenberger was born in Vienna, Austria, but spent the balance of life in Zurich, Switzerland. He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering, and served as Associate Professor at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich from 1928 to 1955. During this time he also acted as a Mechanical Engineering Consultant for machine tools, special machines and automats. He held several patents and authored several books and articles in technical papers. He was critical of Einstein's relativity theory.
