Biography
Akkaya completed a degree in physics. Although he describes himself as devoted to the subject, he became critical of what he regarded as absurdities in mainstream scientific concepts and more than once considered leaving university. Several years after graduating, he began pursuing a master's degree in plasma physics, motivated in part by access to laboratory equipment. He has continued to study physics, electrics, mathematics, and philosophy independently, outside of the university setting.
Scientific contributions
Akkaya's independent work focuses on electromagnetism, metaphysics, and the aether. He is associated with the community of researchers questioning conventional interpretations in the physical sciences.
