Floyd Sweet developed the Vacuum Triode Amplifier (VTA), which alledgedly provided more power out than in. Using magnets to convert ambient temperature into useful work, Sweet's device ran cold and included no moving parts. Tom Bearden investigated Sweet's work and based many of his theories on it.
