Eugene D. Sorocodum (also transliterated Evgeny Sorokodum) is a Russian engineer and researcher, founder and head of Vortex Oscillation Technology Ltd in Moscow, known for his work on oscillatory and vortical methods of generating propulsion force and energy. He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.
Work
Sorocodum works on what he terms vortex-oscillation technology, applying oscillatory and vortical flow to propulsion and energy conversion. His stated interests include the general nature of forces and new methods for producing propulsion force, "heat vortex" generators, and the properties of matter and energy sources. Through his company he has proposed applications such as vortex-oscillatory heat pumps and electricity generators, oscillating-component wind and hydropower stations, and oscillatory-thruster aircraft described as economical and maneuverable.
His work falls within the "new energy" and alternative-propulsion community and lies outside the mainstream of accepted engineering and physics. He has presented his ideas at new-energy conferences and maintains research profiles on platforms such as ResearchGate and Academia.edu.
