Auriana Marici (born July 18, 1956) is an American writer and independent researcher based in Tucson, Arizona, who describes herself as a "quantum healer" and "DNA dancer." She explores connections between DNA, consciousness, ancient mythology, and Electric Universe cosmology, and is known for relating the concepts of plasma cosmology to what she describes as the encoding and unfurling of the DNA molecule.
Biography
Marici graduated in Biochemistry from Huxley College, where she held a research grant from the National Science Foundation in ecological studies. She has described this as the end of her formal scholarly pursuits and the beginning of a lifelong immersion into self-directed learning.
She subsequently traveled widely to visit sacred and megalithic sites, reporting that she spent nights among ancient stones and at locations including the Great Pyramid, the King's Chamber, the Temple of Dendera, the Sphinx, and Ayers Rock (Uluru) in the Australian outback. She has written of studying with a shaman in Peru, of an initiation in the Amazon rainforest, and of an experience during an ayahuasca ceremony that she interpreted as a passage through the DNA and an encounter with what she called the underlying pulse of the universe in a fractal rhythm.
For about twenty years Marici has practiced a movement-based meditation known as Continuum, which she uses to become sensate at the micro level of physical form.
Work
Marici's writing examines the mythologies of different regions of the world, which she describes as overlaying to form a "path through the DNA." She views DNA as designed to be restored to its original template, an idea she likens to rebooting a computer.
Having also studied quantum physics, astrophysics, and cosmology, Marici encountered the Electric Universe theory and adopted it as a framework consistent with what she regards as inherent knowledge recorded in human DNA, which she distinguishes from genetics and epigenetics. She has expressed particular interest in how the macro-scale concepts of plasma cosmology might relate to the structure and expression of the DNA molecule.
