Günther F. Landvogt is a German engineer and independent researcher based in Hamburg, Germany, known within the dissident-science community for his classical, electromagnetic models of the elementary particles. Holding the degree of Dr.-Ing., he approaches Particle Physics through the framework of Classical electrodynamics, modeling particles such as the electron and proton as rotating current structures rather than as point charges.

Biography

Landvogt is a German engineer who spent part of his professional career at the Philips Research Laboratories. He has also been associated with the High Frequency Institute of the Technical University of Darmstadt, from which he is retired. He resides in Hamburg, Germany, and has continued to publish on the structure of matter as an independent researcher.

Work

Landvogt's research develops a classical, field-based account of the fundamental particles. In his model the electron and proton are treated as electromagnetic fields generated by rotating current loops, a Toroidal Ring conception in which a balance between electric and magnetic forces accounts for particle stability. From this starting point he argues that the weak and strong nuclear forces can be understood through magnetic compensation mechanisms, and he seeks to derive quantities such as the Planck mass and the gravitational constant analytically. Through this program he pursues a classical Unification of the electromagnetic, nuclear, and gravitational interactions.

His writings on the subject include the preprints Complete Classical Theory of Charged Elementary Particles (viXra:2206.0065, 2022) and The Circular Current Loop as a Model of Fundamental Particles (viXra:2308.0188, 2023).
