Dr. Ionescu is an associate professor at Illinois State University, engaged in an inter-disciplinary research in quantum mathematical-physics and quantum computing. Professor Ionescu has several publications recognized at international level, in connection with the work of Fields medalists Maxim Konstevich (quantization of Poisson manifolds and deformation theory) and Alain Connes (algebraic renormalization of quantum field theory).
Recently he proposed a new paradigm in physics, Quantum Information Theory, based on the general principles of the Digital World Theory.
