Abstract
It is known that the Lorentz transformations lead to various paradoxes. Here, alternative transformations are found which are also in accord with the two postulates of SRT. The existence of these alternative transformations can also be considered a paradox, since with them, the following question arises: How can one select from among the various possibilities the ?true? transformations? Einstein's light postulate might be a matter of convention.
