His central objection is dimensional. In Kozyrev's causal formula the "course of time" carries the dimensions of a velocity; in the physical arguments built on it, Dadaev observed, that quantity silently acquires the character and the dimensions of a force. He described this as an erroneous — or at best arbitrary and never verbally stated — postulate at the foundation of the theory.
 
His second objection is observational. Alexander Nikolaevich Dadaev (Александр Николаевич Дадаев, 1918 – 14 January 2016) was a Soviet and Russian astronomer at the Pulkovo Observatory, a veteran of the Second World War, and by the end of his life the observatory's longest-serving member of staff.
