Fred William Doran (born October 20, 1927) is a Canadian engineer and physicist. Doran was born on October 20, 1927. He pursued a career in engineering and physics, serving as an engineer with the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) and later as a physicist with Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL). He holds a Master of Science degree. Following his retirement, he continued to reside in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
