Franz Heeke is an independent researcher and author known for an alternative model of celestial mechanics that attributes the rotation of the Sun and planets to a "shaker effect." He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.
Ideas
Heeke maintains a personal website on the solar system and celestial mechanics. Drawing an analogy to a fluid in a glass that begins to rotate when the glass is shaken eccentrically, he hypothesizes that comparable "shaker effects" operate in celestial mechanics and help drive and control the rotation of the Sun and planets. He connects this to a cosmological picture that includes a supermassive black hole at its center.
These proposals lie outside the accepted framework of astrophysics and cosmology, in which planetary and stellar rotation are understood as consequences of angular-momentum conservation during the gravitational collapse and accretion of the protoplanetary and protostellar material.
