Ken Moore is an American computer systems engineer, based in Kensington, Maryland. Now retired, he spent more than 30 years working in the fields of Computer Performance Evaluation (CPE) and mathematical modeling. He is known within the dissident-science community for his work applying performance-modeling techniques to questions in Relativity.
Biography
Moore worked as a computer systems engineer for over 30 years, specializing in Computer Performance Evaluation (CPE) and mathematical modeling. He is now retired and resides in Kensington, Maryland, United States.
Work
Moore's principal research interest concerns whether Special Relativity Theory (SRT) can be used to reliably predict the performance of network elements (computer platforms) travelling at relativistic speeds relative to the Local Group of roughly one million stars. He has sought to develop a mathematical model capable of predicting performance metrics such as response time, including both one-way transmission time and end-to-end response time, between two platforms moving at relativistic speeds relative to an observer (a CPE analyst) who is stationary with respect to the stars of the Local Group.
Moore's approach deliberately excludes the modeling of gravitational fields. His stated aim is to keep the problem simple by predicting response times between two platforms that are sufficiently distant from massive objects that reliable performance predictions can be made as a function of relative velocity alone.
