Richard Leshuk is an American technology-transfer educator and consultant who has pursued a life-long interest in anomalous phenomena. Retired from IBM and residing in the suburban Washington, DC area, he teaches and consults in technology transfer and is active with the Inventors Network of the Capital Area.
Biography
Leshuk spent much of his career with IBM before retiring and turning to independent teaching and consulting. Based in Potomac, Maryland, he became active in the professional technology-transfer community around the national capital region. He served as president of XFER Communications and as Chairman of TTS Education at the Technology Transfer Society. Outside his professional work, he has maintained a long-standing personal interest in anomalous phenomena.
Work
Leshuk's professional work centers on technology transfer, the process of moving research results, inventions, and know-how from their point of origin into practical commercial or public use. In this capacity he has taught and consulted, contributed to the educational programs of the Technology Transfer Society, and supported inventors through the Inventors Network of the Capital Area, a regional group that assists independent inventors with product development and commercialization. He has also written and spoken on anomalous phenomena in connection with the dissident-science community.
