Abdul L. Bhuiyan is a researcher and author who has proposed an alternative account of the fundamental interactions of physics. He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.

Work

Bhuiyan is the author of "The nature of the exchange forces," published in the peer-reviewed journal Physics Essays (vol. 23, p. 97, 2010). In it he discusses how the four fundamental forces—gravity, electromagnetism, the strong force and the weak force—are described as being mediated by the exchange of particles between interacting objects, and he investigates whether gravity can be united with the other three into a single force. He argues that the exchange forces are of the nature of a space-time-quantized form of gravity, which he characterizes in terms of "gravity particles." This proposal is presented outside the framework of the standard model of particle physics.
