Alexey M. Savchenko (Aleksei Savchenko) is a Russian researcher, a candidate of technical sciences, known for investigating claims of additional (excess) energy release in vortex heat generators. He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.
Work
Savchenko has worked as a chief expert in nuclear fuel management at the A.A. Bochvar High-Technology Research Institute of Inorganic Materials (VNIINM) in Moscow. Separately from that work, he has published on the "additional energy formation" reported in water vortex heat generators (WHG).
In papers such as Analysis of the Additional Energy Formation Processes in Vortices and Vortex Heat Generators and Additional Energy Formation in Water Vortex Heat Generators, he describes bench tests intended to check declarations that vortex heaters release more thermal energy than the electrical energy supplied, and proposes explanations invoking neutrino/antineutrino interactions and entropy effects. Such over-unity claims for vortex heat generators are not accepted by mainstream physics, which regards them as incompatible with energy conservation, and it is on this basis that he is listed in the directory under the "new energy" category.
