A. A. Tolokonnikova (cited as Tolokonnikova A. A.) is a researcher known as a co-author of experimental work associated with the so-called "Shnoll effect". They are listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.

Work

Tolokonnikova is one of the authors, together with E. Y. Filin, A. V. Repkov, V. V. Voronov and S. E. Shnoll, of the paper "Synchronous Changes of the Shape of Histograms Constructed from the Results of Measurements of 90Sr Beta-Decay and 239Pu Alpha-Decay Observed in More than 3000 km Distant Laboratories", published in Progress in Physics (Vol. 11, 2015, pp. 231-235). The paper reports that the shapes of histograms built from radioactive-decay measurements are claimed to change synchronously by local time in laboratories thousands of kilometres apart, which the authors interpret as evidence of a cosmophysical influence on the fine structure of measurement fluctuations. This line of research, developed chiefly by Simon Shnoll and collaborators, lies outside the accepted physical mainstream, which attributes such fluctuations to statistical and instrumental effects.
