Anthony D. Seratites (also catalogued under the spelling A. D. Sarantites) was a self-published author of alternative theories of physics. He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.

Ideas

Seratites argued that there is no ultimate particle in physics, and that protons, electrons, muons, quarks, neutrinos and their antiparticles are all nothing more than photon quanta organized in different ways. In his account, matter and antimatter are the same substance seen in different aspects, so that antimatter is no rarer than matter and the two balance one another. He set out these ideas in privately printed volumes, including The Structural Nature of Matter and The Universal Unified Field Law and the Law of Universal Creation of Mass-Energy (Universal Science Foundation, Phoenix, Arizona, 1963). His work is not part of mainstream physics.
