Les Banki
Known forHydroxy (HHO) gas injection and "overunity" claims
Scientific career
FieldsAlternative energy

Les Banki is an alternative-energy researcher known for his work on hydroxy ("HHO") gas water cells and for claims about achieving "overunity" in hydrogen-fuel systems using fuel injectors. He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists. (He is recorded in the directory as "Banki Les.")

Work

Banki writes about running hydroxy gas—produced by the electrolysis of water—through fuel injectors, which he argues is a key to what he describes as the "secret of achieving overunity." His article "The Secret of Achieving Overunity with Hydroxy Using Injectors" circulated on new-energy and free-energy websites such as PESWiki and ArizonaEnergy. Claims of "overunity" (net energy output exceeding input) fall outside accepted physics, as they would violate the laws of thermodynamics; such devices have not been demonstrated under controlled conditions.
