Branko L. Zivlak is an independent researcher, by profession a meteorologist, known for numerical and dimensional-analysis studies that attempt to derive fundamental physical constants from one another. He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.

Work

Zivlak has published numerous short papers through venues such as the General Science Journal, viXra/rxiv, and the FQXi community forum. In the paper "Towards Exact Value of Universal Gravitational Constant" he proposes a formula relating the gravitational constant to quantities such as the proton mass and the proton's Compton wavelength, claiming a value more precise than the CODATA recommendation. Other papers explore purported relationships involving the Planck mass and length, planetary parameters, and other physical constants. This numerological approach to the constants of nature lies outside mainstream physics, which does not regard the gravitational constant as derivable from other constants in this way.
