Bruce A. Perreault is an independent inventor and new-energy researcher who runs the website "Nu Energy Horizons" (nuenergy.org), where he publishes designs and commentary on unconventional and "radiant energy" power devices. He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.
Work
Perreault is associated with a proposed device he calls the Solid State K-Capture Generator, described on his site as a computer-controlled system that uses the "K-capture" (electron capture) principle of nuclear physics to produce electrical energy. In his write-up the concept involves using an ultraviolet burst from a nitrogen laser to induce electron-capture conditions in a lithium-6 isotope. These claims lie outside mainstream physics and have not been independently reproduced or accepted by the scientific community.
He has also written about "radiant energy" concepts, including a device he calls the Perreault Radiant Energy Valve and various self-recharging "capture capacitors," and has presented at exotic-energy conferences.
