Colin Hill is a British author and amateur astronomer, described as a retired chemical engineer, known for proposing a "Fractal Universe" hypothesis and for the self-published book Electro-Fractal Universe. He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.
Ideas
Through his website fractaluniverse.org and the book Electro-Fractal Universe (ISBN 978-0-9558137-0-2, 2006), Hill argues that the universe is structured as a series of nested, spiral bodies of diminishing size, each formed by plasma ejection and shaped by a spatial Coriolis-like effect, producing what he calls a rotating fractal universe. He rejects the Big Bang model of cosmology and expresses doubt about aspects of Einstein's relativity. These views lie outside the framework of mainstream physical cosmology.
