Dominique Mareau is an independent theorist known for an alternative cosmology built around antimatter and the notion of an "imaginary mass" of the universe. He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.
Ideas
Mareau has published a series of papers through the General Science Journal, including "La masse imaginaire de l'univers" ("The Imaginary Mass of the Universe", 2014) and work on the composition of galactic centres and the observed absence of anti-protons. He argues, contrary to the standard interpretation, that ordinary matter is in effect antimatter, and he develops a cosmological picture in which the universe's mass has an imaginary component. These proposals lie well outside mainstream cosmology, which retains the conventional matter/antimatter classification.
