Azzam k Almosallami is a Palestinian independent theoretical physicist based in Zurich, Switzerland. His work centers on the foundations of relativity and quantum theory, and he is known for proposing a reinterpretation of the Lorentz transformation and a modified version of special relativity.

Biography

Almosallami is of Palestinian origin and works as an independent researcher in Zurich, Switzerland, where he is associated with the Science Center for Studies and Research. He presented his work as a speaker at the 6th World Congress on Physics (Euro Physics 2019), held on 13–14 May 2019, where his contribution addressed special and general relativity and the concept of an observer-dependent relativistic ether arising from retardation effects.

Scientific contributions

Almosallami's research proposes a reinterpretation of the Lorentz transformation according to what he describes as the Copenhagen school, aiming to express wave–particle duality and the Heisenberg uncertainty principle within a relativistic framework. From this basis he develops what he calls a Modified Special Relativity Theory, which he applies to phenomena such as quantum tunneling, quantum entanglement, and reported faster-than-light neutrino observations.

He has also worked on the quantization of general relativity and the quantization of gravity, arguing for an electromagnetic interpretation of gravitational effects. Additional topics in his published work include proposed solutions to the Pioneer anomaly, a generalization of the Schwarzschild metric, and cosmological questions concerning dark matter, dark energy, and the cosmological constant. His theories are presented as an alternative to the standard interpretation of the Minkowski spacetime continuum and the curvature of spacetime in general relativity.
