Ben Ged Low is a filmmaker and the owner of Silver Wolf Productions Inc. He is known for producing documentary films associated with the Electric Universe and Catastrophism research community, working closely with David Talbott and Wal Thornhill of the Thunderbolts Project.
Biography
Low has worked across many facets of film production, taking on roles that have included producer, director, writer, cinematographer, composer, stills photographer, music producer and arranger, editor, and sound design mixer. Through his company, Silver Wolf Productions Inc., he has been credited on a large number of film projects. He has also expressed an interest in mentoring, offering guidance sessions to new and early-career filmmakers and documentarians.
Work
Low is best known within the alternative-cosmology community for documentaries examining the ideas of the Electric Universe and ancient planetary catastrophism. He co-produced and directed a documentary about the work of David Talbott, Wal Thornhill, and their associates titled Thunderbolts, handling camera, special effects, sound design, music, and post-production. His earlier documentary Remembering the End of the World (1996) presented David Talbott's work on comparative mythology and catastrophism.
Low has also documented the SAFIRE Project, an experimental effort to model the electrical behavior attributed to the Sun in Electric Universe theory. In addition, he has filmed and produced video content from Electric Universe conferences and from meetings of the Natural Philosophy Alliance, including interviews and presentations by Wallace Thornhill, David Talbott, Donald Scott, and others.
