William Clarence Eckroat (1946 – November 4, 2021) was an American physician and board-certified radiologist who was interested in the study of electrogravitics.
Biography
Eckroat was born in 1946 in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Dallas, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Wilkes College and of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After earning his dental degree, he practiced dentistry for three years in New Mexico and Montana with the United States Public Health Service.
Eckroat subsequently returned to Philadelphia to obtain his medical degree from Hahnemann University Medical School. He completed postgraduate training in diagnostic radiology and became a board-certified radiologist. He practiced radiology for more than twenty years at Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, before relocating to Arizona, where he served for approximately twenty years as Chairman of the Radiology Department at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center.
Eckroat lived in Scottsdale, Arizona, and died there on November 4, 2021, at the age of 75.
Work
In addition to his medical career, Eckroat took an interest in electrogravitics, the study of proposed relationships between high-voltage electric fields and gravitational or propulsive effects.
