One of the biggest downfalls of science today are the lack of stated scientific assumptions. Assumptions are those facts which cannot be disputed, verified, or proven but are on which all science is based. Most of mainstream science and science theory never state their assumptions and when carefully examined, fail because of conflicting "implied" assumptions.

History

Neil Munch of the Natural Philosophy Alliance is considered to be the father of scientific assumptions. The stressed this fact with fellow scientists for almost two decades. Because of his relentlessness, many of today's scientists in the John Chappell Natural Philosophy Society (and former members of the NPA) always state their assumptions up front in their scientific publications.

Prominent scientific philosopher Dr. Glenn Borchardt has authored the ten assumptions of science based and is considered by many to be "the" modern treatise on natural philosophy. These scientific assumptions claim to be universal and must be followed by all scientists.
