Retired telecom executive. At Pacific NW Bell, had responsibilities in transmission engineering, long range planning, network planning,systems analysis and programming. At GTE, had responsibilites in regulatory affairs and in marketing, including department head for regulation at General Telephone Company of the Southwest and, at GTE Telops Headquarters, Assistant VP for product planning and pricing in the marketing department and Assistant VP for regulatory strategy in the regulatory affairs department. After retiring from GTE, served as VP for telephone industry policy development at the United States Telephone Association in Washington DC. After retiring from USTA, have been messing about in physics, philosophy, writing, publishing and water media painting. Author of two books: Relativity Revisited and Adages and Aphorisms from Philosophilus.Working on a book about the power and magic of the line to communicate to the human mind.
Am married and have two great daughters of whom I am very proud.
