Andraz Pibernik is a Slovenian independent researcher known for a self-developed theory he calls "E=mQ²", presented as a grand unification of gravity and electromagnetism. His writings have been posted on the General Science Journal and viXra. He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.

Ideas

Pibernik proposes to reformulate mass–energy relationships in terms of what he labels a "Q²" quantity, which he connects to squares of time and of acceleration, and argues that this yields a unified description of gravity and electricity of the kind he says Einstein sought in his later years. He has authored several related essays and papers, including "E=mQ² The Grand Unification of Gravity and Electromagnetism" (2013), and has extended the framework to speculative claims about consciousness, light and torsion fields. In this work he acknowledges the influence of the amateur theorist Al ("Alan") Zeeper.

These proposals are self-published outside the peer-reviewed physics literature and lie well outside the scientific mainstream.
