Work
Rigg is the author of the article "Young galaxies too old for the big bang," published by Creation Ministries International (creation.com) and reproduced by Answers in Genesis. Reporting on the 2004 discovery of a large filament of mature galaxies (sometimes called the Francis Filament) some 10.8 billion light-years away, Rigg argues that the existence of such large, fully formed galaxies so early in cosmic history is difficult to reconcile with Big Bang timescales. He interprets the finding instead within a biblical framework in which stars and galaxies were created rapidly during Creation Week. This position lies outside mainstream cosmology.
