Guillemin is a co-founder and senior partner of LENR-Invest, LLC, an investment fund focused on helping early-stage companies commercialize Low Energy Nuclear Reaction (also known as cold fusion) technologies. According to the fund's materials he holds a master's degree in nuclear physics and a doctorate in physics, and he has acted as a peer reviewer of a technical validation report for an LENR device.
LENR research investigates claims of anomalous heat and nuclear-scale energy release from low-temperature experiments; it remains outside mainstream nuclear physics, which has not accepted its central claims.
