Arthur Boltcho is a researcher known for arguing against the relativistic time dilation of Einstein's special theory of relativity. He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.

Work

Boltcho published "Mathematical Disproof of Relative Time Dilatation" in the European Journal of Scientific Research (Vol. 44, No. 4, 2010, pp. 610–611), together with related notes in Physics Essays. He argues, using a thought experiment involving an inertial stopwatch and a second stopwatch moving along a circular path, that the relative time dilation predicted by special relativity leads to a contradiction and is therefore mathematically disproved.

His argument was directly challenged by physicist Christian Corda in a 2010 rebuttal, which concluded that Boltcho's reasoning was flawed and that no disproof had been demonstrated. Boltcho's claims stand outside the scientific mainstream.
