Work

In "A derivation of the 'Bohr hypothesis' of the Bohr hydrogen atom analysis" (Physics Essays, vol. 18, no. 4, p. 533, 2005), Washo revisits Bohr's postulate that the allowed electron orbits are those for which the atom's angular momentum is an integral multiple of Planck's constant. Rather than treating this quantization as an a priori assumption, the paper seeks to derive it, using an operator for angular momentum, as a consequence of physical law in a way the author presents as consistent with special relativity.
