Conrad J. Countess is an author and independent theorist known for alternative interpretations of mass–energy and relativity. He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.

Work

Countess submitted the paper "Geometric Interpretation of E = mc² as E = mc-circled" to the General Science Journal in 2010, in which he offers a geometrical account of how a wave "turns into a particle" by acquiring circular or spherical motion, and argues that mass originates in the ground-state energy of space or the vacuum. He is also the author of the book Cosmic Alignment: With the Cosmic Mind and the Cosmic Pattern (iUniverse, 2004), which draws analogies between galactic structures, natural phenomena and human consciousness. These ideas fall outside the scientific mainstream.
