Dragan Turanyanin (also cited as Dragan N. Turanyanin) is an independent researcher known for a self-developed "wave gravity" or wave-dynamic approach to gravitation and quantum gravity. He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.
Ideas
Turanyanin proposes to describe gravitation not through the curved space-time of general relativity but as an intrinsically wavy, nonlinear phenomenon. In his paper "Wave Dynamics of Quantum Gravity-Space" he treats gravity-space as a unique, nonlinear and "a-temporal" medium and introduces a wave function said to describe the state of space surrounding a moving mass ("gravitodynamic vortex"). Because frequency enters both the quantum and gravitational descriptions of matter, he argues that a principle of resonance arises naturally, and that in strong-field limits the quantization of orbits should appear. He has also introduced an associated planar and polar spiral curve he calls the "Hyperspi", and, in later work, discussed an exponentially variable rest mass.
These proposals lie outside the accepted framework of general relativity and quantum field theory, and his papers have circulated through non-mainstream venues rather than peer-reviewed physics journals.
