Gabi Norath Müller, who publishes as Gabi Müller, is a German author and independent researcher known for the "torkado" model, an aether-based vortex theory of matter and space. She is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.

Torkado model

Müller describes herself as a former physicist who now works in programming and pursues vortex physics as independent research. Her "torkado" model (a coinage combining "torus" and "tornado") proposes that all matter is a form of cavity or structured flow within an all-pervading aether, and that physical reality is built from long-lived, "pumpable" spatial vortices. In this picture quanta are interpreted as vortex structures, electromagnetism as a class of fine-material vortices, and phenomena such as planetary motion are described in terms of nested etheric vortices.

She has presented these ideas in the German fringe-science magazine Raum & Zeit (articles in 2004 and 2007) and in the book Viva Vortex: Alles lebt – Quanten sind Wirbel (2024), and maintains the websites torkado.de and viva-vortex.de. The aether and vortex framework she advocates lies outside mainstream physics, which does not employ a material aether.
